En velkommen nyhed, der muligvis kan give serien bare en lille smule pondus i stedet for det pjat, som den er:
Citat:
As can be glimpsed in the previews, a fairly major part of the action in Marvel's "Thor: The Dark World" takes place in the U.K. where strange physics-defying phenomenon are a key element to the film's overall plot.
Now it has been confirmed that the November 19th episode of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will tie in with the film, picking up after the ending of the "Thor" sequel.
Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: First Contact," "Burn Notice") directs the episode "The Well" in which Coulson and his fellow agents set out to pick up the mess left behind by events in the 'Thor' film. It also seems that something left in the rubble threatens to destroy a member of the team.
There's rumor that the episode will also boast a cameo from one of the film's actors, similar to the way Samuel L. Jackson already cameoed in an earlier episode - though it could well be something more offbeat than a straight up Chris Hemsworth appearance.
The welcome bit of synergy comes as the series faces a lot of criticism from all sides. Viewership for the show has plummeted from a 4.7 rating for the premiere to a 2.6 rating by its fifth week.
It's also suffering critical backlash about the lack of creative direction, under developed characters, and more recently comparisons to the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" trailer which quite a few claim looks like the series "S.H.I.E.L.D." should have been.
